How does CME
Works?
We
provide you with a calibration CME KIT that contains components traceable to
NIST. The kit contains the same type instrumentation used by your current
calibration vendor to conduct work on the instrumentation you send them. We also
provide you a calibration procedure CD or a calibration procedure my be
downloaded from this website. The kit also includes a process
module equipped with CD-ROM drive and Internet connectivity capability. The procedures are designed by CME,
Inc.,
based upon the instrument model, and the OEM’s product specification. The
procedures are written in an easy to follow format. The procedures will include
pictures showing how to connect cables from your vibration equipment to the CME
KIT and also step-by-step instructions on how to set up the CME KIT. The
procedure will seek answers to questions such as “Does the model (instrument
ABC) read .9 to 1.0 on its amplitude meter?” “Does the digital voltmeter (DVM)
read
between
275-285 mV?”
Following
the test procedure is easy as 1-2-3. Instrumentation calibration procedures for
IRD, Entek-IRD, CSI, SKF and many other OEM’s vibration equipment are already
developed and available in our database. You now have the capability to certify
calibration of vibration data collectors, dedicated vibration analyzers,
permanently installed vibration monitor (except non contact pick-up’s)
balancing machine instrumentation, and check instrument transducers with
equipment as a system from the comfort of your office.
CME, Inc., will then provide you
with the calibration certification procedure for equipment you specify. You
simply follow the instrument specific test procedures and the calibration
certification process should be completed within 45 minutes or less.
